Linguistic Studies in the Brazilian Amazon (ELIAB/ANPOLL) has
We are pleased to announce the holding of the International Congress on Pan-Amazonian Languages:
integration of knowledge (CILPA).
This is an event supported by the Program to Support Events in the Country (PAEP),
the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES),
organized by ELIAB, in partnership with the Faculty of Human Sciences and
Language (FACHLIN), the Language Course, the Graduate Program in Letters
(PPGLetras), the Professional Graduate Program in Letters (PROFLETRAS), the
Study and Research Group in Applied Linguistics and Sociolinguistics
(GEPLIAS), the Study and Research Group on Media and Communication on the
(GEMCA), the Cinema and Media Course (Faculty of Technology of Sinop)
– FASTECH).
CILPA have the purpose of integrating Pan-Amazonian Graduate Programs in Languages (Linguistics),
namely, those present in the Brazil,
Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Ecuador, Guyana, Suriname, Venezuela and Guyana
French, in the sense of debate, disseminate and share research
produced in the national and international scenarios, in order to stimulate dialogue
between the production of science, as well as its implications for the studies and
language practices. In addition, it seeks to disseminate the scientific production of the
Educational programs and institutions, provide a moment of exchange of
scientific production, establish inter-institutional dialogues and meet the
demand of need to publicize the production of knowledge
specific to this context.
The event will take place on
hybrid format between November 19 and 21, 2026, at
State University of Mato Grosso (UNEMAT), Sinop campus, com
Tables and Conferences (face-to-face modality), short courses (modalities
face-to-face and remote) and presentations of communications linked to groups
thematic (remote mode).
Congress languages: Portuguese, Spanish, English and Libras.
