The 3rd PROFSOCIO National Seminar is an academic-extension event of strategic relevance, promoted by the Professional Master''''s Degree in Sociology in National Network (PROFSOCIO) with the support of CAPES, whose set of actions articulates the objectives of PROEB.
With national coverage, the seminar fulfills the fundamental role of articulating stricto sensu graduate studies with basic education professionals from different regions of the country.
By bringing the external public closer to the institutions, the event strengthens the ties between academic production and the school reality. This dynamic promotes a dialogical interaction between the university and society, counting on the effective participation of the community and the internal public as beneficiaries of the action.
Its central objective is to disseminate and socialize innovative teaching methodologies and pedagogical practices from a transdisciplinary perspective. By promoting direct dialogue between master''''s students, graduate professors and basic education professionals (from the public and private networks), the event seeks to democratize scientific knowledge. In addition, it aims at the continuing education and qualification of teachers of Sociology, Anthropology and Political Science who work in Basic Education, strictly aligning with the objectives of PROEB.
We welcome all participants on behalf of the National Network of PROFSOCIO and the host institution, the State University of Mato Grosso UNEMAT, Sinop Campus, State of Mato Grosso, Brazil.
